Baja Mexico fly fishing update and report postedon February 28th 2012.

Hi folks,

I want to apologize for not getting a report up the last couple of weeks but it has been very busy for me. I am currently in the United States doing a couple fly fishing shows in California. I am writing this report on my phone as I am on the Amtrak train headed from San Diego to Pasadena where the show will be held this weekend.

I made a call home and got the current fly fishing scoop. It sounds like we had quite a bit of wind this week. From what I was told the wind was blowing both on the East Cape as well as on the Pacific side.

As far as the fly fishing it sounds like those that got out did fair. It sounds like inshore is the ticket. They caught Sierra, jacks, and a few rooster fish. They said the wind was pretty tough to deal with.

That is what I know currently. I will be back home early next week. At that time I will be back on the water and I will be able to give an up to date and accurate report.

Until next time…. Keep fly fishing
