Hi Folks,
The Reel Baja is still on the road and our next stop is the show in Washington state. The Sommerset show in New Jersey was amazing and we met some great new people, plus it was nice to be able to catch up with some old friends. I having been checking on the conditions back home and I called one of my captains to get a report last week. The report is that there are some big skipjack, Yellowtail and sierra around. Skipjack and Yellowtail are football sized, but there are some bigger fish in the mix. The wind has been a factor but there are some windows of great fishing when it’s not blowing to heavily. As soon as the show is over in Washington I will be heading home and I’m excited to get back in the boat, plus check out the beaches for some fish. The Reel Baja will be posting some spring packages shortly and we are excited that spring is on the way and striped marlin, dorado and roosterfish will be keeping us busy.
