Hi folks,

It’s been another action-packed week here in Baja. We’ve had some beautiful weather with highs in the eighties.

The tuna, dorado and sailfish bite has been one of the best we have had, and it’s not showing signs of letting up any time soon. Average size tuna is 8-10 lbs but there are some in 25-30lb range in the school.

The sailfish bite is hot right now and several fish are being hooked per day. We are finding most of the sailfish 5-10 miles off shore.

We have also seen a few rooster fish around on the beaches, but you have to know where to look and be very patient. The roosters we have found are big and they will chase a well-placed fly.

The fishing here in East Cape Baja will stay incredibly good until the end of October to early November. Towards the end of November we will start to focus on our winter fishery and mostly focus on the Magdalena Bay area. The bonito, marlin and sierra bite will be incredible during December and January, and if we have a winter fishery anything close to what we have experienced this summer, then it’s going to be an action-packed winter.

Please contact us for trip details as we do have some dates available and they will fill fast, so contact us about availability and pricing to get in on the tail end of one of our best summers ever!

Tight Lines,

Jeff
