Had a little wind from the North for a couple days this last week which was strange for this time of year.
The beach has been OK. A few fish are around and the crowds were out in full force but it’s not overwhelming. Overall there is a great mix of species right now. Small roosters in the marina, plus Jacks, and snappers as well.
Outside we are seeing great dorado & marlin fishing as well. The pompano fishing has been nothing but fantastic this last week. Bigger roosters are further out but very picky. When we do get one to eat its a ton of fun.
Lots of tuna 30 & 40 miles out with porpoise. Close to home, we are finding tuna off the lighthouse fishing sinking lines and finding a 45 pounders in the mix.
Fishing is only going to get better as the sardines show up and the wind drops off as we hit the beaches sight fishing roosters and jacks. Grande rooster season is here. Every week we will see more & more fish on the beaches. If anyone has questions please feel free to give us a call and we will be happy to discuss availability.
