Deposit Policy

Reservations for The Reel Baja are confirmed by receipt of a deposit of 50% of the trip price. 

Deposits are 100% refundable if cancelled more than 45 days in advance (90 days for group reservations). 

Cancellation Policy

For our guests that are concerned about possible changes and restrictions that could impede travel, we suggest purchasing travel insurance for your trip. For a small amount, your costs for tickets and deposits are insurable, which can offer peace of mind. For your consideration, the link below is a familiar insurance company.

A cancellation fee of $250 applies for cancellations within said 45 day (or 90 day for group reservations) period.  If The Reel Baja has helped you with your accommodations then a cancellation fee of 2 nights room fee applies for cancellations within said 45 day (or 90 day for group reservations) period.  We will generally allow a 100% credit for deposits on cancelled reservations if the dates can be rebooked by the party holding the reservation or by The Reel Baja. 

Any reservations canceled within 30 days of the date of reservation The Reel Baja will retain 100% of the deposit unless the dates of the reservation can be filled by the party holding the reservation or by The Reel Baja. 

Refunds for emergency cancellations shall be considered on an individual basis.
