Last week we had a storm brewing off the coast. Overall the storm only brought in a bit of rain and no damage due to the wind. Over the last week, the water has been clearing up nicely. The dorado bite that was wide open a few weeks ago has tapered off but there are still some nice fish around. In the next few weeks, we expect the dorado bite to be solid.
On the outside: a few boats have been coming in with marlin flags plus the tuna bite is strong offshore. However, it’s a long ride out to find them, but when you do the action is exciting.
On the inside: Roosters are cruising the beaches and several grande fish have been sen this week. We had a few exciting chases but the fish are spooky. In the mix is big jacks inshore. We saw several in the 50lb range this last week. Several dates are open July-August if anyone is considering coming down now is the time to book. We are out this week with clients so look out for some great pics coming soon.
