Fishing is Heating Up
Report week of February 1st
Over the last week, the fishing has been heating up. Lots of marlin again in front of Magdalena Bay. Great fishing on the inside and in the bay for snappers, golden trevally, small snook and grouper, and some orange mouth corvina.
Cabo is the same with Sierra, some jacks, and some snapper. Very few roosters this week. Haven’t heard much about any tuna or marlin in the area but I’m sure with the warming water the action will pick up.
Here in the East Cape, it’s been windy for the most part. On the non-windy days, the boats have had a difficult time. A few white Bonita and the occasional yellowtail have been reported. Overall, fishing is slow in East Cape.
We have dates open so please call for any trips or questions.
Tight lines,
Jeff
