Hi folks,
This last week we had really good fishing for roosters and sierra out of Cabo/San Jose. There was a lot of bait and good action early in the mornings especially for big sierra. Even though there was not really any wind the swells were four to six feet. It was fishable but you needed to be careful. We also fished near the marina in San Jose and had excellent fishing for rooster fish as well as sierra. There was a good school of big jacks that showed up for a moment. As we were landing a rooster we had a very nice school of golden trevally swim under the boat but we were occupied with the rooster that we had on. Overall the fishing out of both Cabo San Lucas as well as San Jose del Cabo was very good this past week.

The East Cape continues to fish well also. This past week we had some nice weather allowing boats to go out. The action was once again steady for some nice dorado and a few marlin. Both species continue to provide some action. Yellow tail provided some action but was slower than last week. A good early morning bite for some sierra at the light house. The fish were active from sunrise until about 7:30 or 8:00. After that the action slowed. I did hear about a few roosters in the same area as the sierra but I can’t confirm for sure on them being here in the area yet as I was not in the beach this past week.
I will be on the water this coming week and will let you know how we do so check back here for the latest. Until then we wish everyone good fishing.
