November starts with great fly fishing in Magdalena Bay

Hi folks,

As our Magdalena bay season continues fishing continues to be very good.

This week we saw a little wind and we had to stick to the mangroves for a couple days. Those days provided some very good action for grouper, snook, orange mouth corvina, and a few snapper mixed in. We had a snapper day where the  sight fishing for them as incredible.

Offshore the marlin bite continues to be very strong.  We were not able to get to them on the windy days but today we are headed back down to our out post camp and will be there most of the week. It might take us a day or two to find them after this wind but I’m sure we will find them somewhere.

The offshore action to the North continues to be good for dorado and tuna. My guests today got both species and came home very happy. They will look in the Northern fishing grounds for marlin tomorrow.

Magdalena never seems do disappoint this time of year. The fishing should just keep getting better as November rolls on.

Until next time we wish everyone great fishing.
