Week of December 22nd.
Hello!
This last week I spent several days in Cabo fishing with clients and we had a blast. The bite is doing really well and it’s wide open on small roosters, jacks and ladyfish. There are also some scattered marlin and dorado around as well.
Over in Mag Bay there is reports of some marlin around but we have focused most of our fishing time in Cabo because the fishing has been that good. Water temps will start to drop over the next few weeks in Mag Bay which will improve the marlin bite. Our first trip of the new year will be in Mag Bay and I will have an update as soon as we are back.
The East Cape has had some wind recently but we had a small break in the weather last week and we had several nice days with little wind. On the beach we are finding jacks and the odd roosterfish and some great sierra at first light. This week I’m in the states and spending Christmas with the family and I will be back fishing clients the first week of January.
