Over the last week, the East Cape has been VERY windy. Before the wind, there was some dorado around the buoys and there were some Sierra and roosters around the marina that are always fun on light rods. As an added bonus we were able to find some jacks in front of hotel Palmas de Cortez as well which is always a treat.

Mag Bay had good wahoo fishing recently with some scattered dorado & there were also a few small tuna mixed in as well. The marlin is there but we’re moving south at a pretty good rate as the water-cooled off. There are still a few pockets of them around if you can find them as they are on the move, but if you are patient you will have a few shots at some good marlin
The mangroves were fishing really well with snapper, Corvina, golden trevally, and some snook. There also was the occasional halibut.
We are still taking trips through the winter so if anyone has any questions please reach out.
Tight lines,
Jeff
